LASTWORD processes the public sentence, public name, optional target URL, paid amount, payment and reference identifiers, timestamps, click and referrer data where a sponsored link is used, truncated or hashed technical data, and server logs needed to run the site.

PURPOSES

To operate LASTWORD.ONE, publish purchased Last Words, process and reconcile payments, prevent abuse and fraud, and keep the service secure and technically available.

LEGAL BASES

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary for the purchased publication service.
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for security, abuse prevention and minimal technical logging.
• Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR where retention is legally required.

RECIPIENTS

Hosting provider. Authorities only where legally required. When live card checkout is enabled, the Merchant of Record / payment provider will be named here with its legal identity and role.

RETENTION

A purchased public sentence, name and URL are meant to remain in the permanent public archive. Payment and accounting records are kept according to legal retention duties. Technical and security logs are kept only as long as necessary.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access, rectification, erasure where legally and practically possible, restriction, objection, and data portability where applicable. Erasure of a published Last Word can be limited because public archival publication is the service.

You may lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

COOKIES

The public site uses no cookies and no Google Analytics. An essential session cookie is set only for the operator admin login.
